Guess who is in Tucson?
GWA, not to be confused with NWA ( late 80′s early 90′s rap band). Quite the opposite in fact – GWA stands for Garden Writers Association, a great organization for garden writers, speakers and photographers. I felt lucky to be included in tonight’s little soirée by Garden Media Group, where my new friends Katie and Susie hosted a wonderful event at the local restaurant, Maynard’s.
I must do a shout out to Garden Media‘s new logo ! I love it. Way to go ladies ! Tonight’s dinner was lovely. Each place setting had a darling little plant on it with the cute little name tag attached to each one. They had a delicious dinner with great wine by Alias and a small light jazz playing in the background. Tonight was just so delightful!
Thank you for the wonderful goodie bag tonight. I loved all my stuff that was in there… the contents of which I will further disclose later on! I also got to finally meet some of my virtual friends that I’ve been creeping on facebook and twitter. It was so great to meet “GardenChat” in person and I met some new people tonight too, such as Peggy Montgomery of American Beauties !
I hope that I get to see you all again soon.
